The SPOT Youth Services provides a range of options and programmes for young people aged between 15 & 25 years of age. We offer education, training and youth support programmes that are free or low cost. Programmes that include graphic design, studio recording, live music production, radio broadcasting, video production, rock climbing, song development & production, mechanics, construction, outdoor recreation, jewellery making and year 10 maths & english are offered in a variety of locations across the south-east corner of the state. Our main facility is located at 49-51 Eastern Road Browns Plains (a short walk from Grand Plaza Shopping Centre).
NO RULES - JUST PRINCIPLES
We conduct all of our programmes at The Spot on the following 4 principles:
1. Respect
We will all respect each other and in return expect to be respected.
2. Safety
All activities will be conducted in a safe manner and all participants will behave in a manner that ensures their own personal safety as well as the safety of others.
3. Participate
Participation in activities, at some level, is expected.
4. Community
The Spot in itself is a community and all members (staff & participants) are members of this community. All that we do will build the community and will be done out of respect for this community.
